West Wind is Quilt Block Sixty-Nine

West Wind is another wonderfully easy quilt block.  This would be a great block to use when you are mastering the half square triangles.  Make sure you square up each half square triangle as you go.  You can refer to the video I have done on Squaring up your quilt block.

Even though this is an easy quilt block, you can have several options for how you would like to set up your blocks which changes the design.

I love option number two.  It reminds me of the Pineapple Block.  Sometimes the simplier the block, the more options you have.  I went with the first option on my baby quilt.
