Another impressive quilt block from "Around the Block with Judy Hopkins". The Underground Railroad block isn't hard, but I wouldn't attempt it if this is your first quilt. I say that only because it doesn't work up as fast as some of the other quilt blocks and you want to make sure all your points meet up nicely.
I am disappointed that I forgot to take pictures of the different ways you could set up these blocks. I could have had the blocks all facing the same direction or done a few other designs with them.

You can see in the picture the free motion quilting I did. This is something new I have learned by taking Leah Day's Free Motion quilting class on Craftsy. I highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn free motion quilting. That has become one of my favorite parts of quilting.
