The True Blue quilt block is supposed to have just two fabrics, a light and a dark. Of course, I can never do things that simple. My first attempt I had three fabrics. I didn't care for that, too much white. So I decided to change the center block to a dark and added a fourth fabric. I'm not sure if this changes the name of the block or not. Is it still a True Blue quilt block? Well, I didn't leave it with the dark in the center. I think I felt like it was changing the look of the block too much. So I added yet another fabric.Boy can I complicate things. When I saw the four blocks together, I really thought they were too busy. So... here we go again. I decided to put a white sashing inbetween the blocks and wanted to add a star in the corners. This is what I ended up with.It turned out to be a beautiful quilt. My picture doesn't do it justice.
