Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for, my mom and grandmother doing well, my sons being home with my husband and I and my business taking off.
Swamp Angel is another great quilt block from "Around the Block with Judy Hopkins". Here is what the block looks like.
I took the zebra fabric and fussy cut the zebra. Then the dark red frames the zebra. The darker gold gives the illusion of a circle. I love how the blocks look when you put four together.
For a different variation, you could switch the medium and the dark fabric in every other block. I turned this quilt into a "Lovie Lap Quilt" with pockets.
