I have working on my quilting project for 15 months now. I am quilting 200 quilts from the 200 quilt blocks of my favorite quilt book, "Around the Block with Judy Hopkins". I want to show not only what the quilt block looks like, but what designs you achieve when sewing four blocks together. It was hard for me to know what a quilt would look like from looking at just one quilt block.
When I first started this project, I thought it would take just over a year. Well, there's no way that was going to happen. Like I said previous, I have been at this for 15 months and am on quilt number 76. I still have a long way to go. I am enjoying the discovery of new quilt blocks. I have also made several of the quilts twice just because I really liked the block.

Steps to the Alter is another design that has several possibilities when putting your blocks together. I chose to turn the blocks facing each other. I'm sorry to say I didn't take pictures of the other design choices.
I had a lot of fun with the free motion quilting in this quilt. I love the center flower. It really adds to the overall effect of the quilt.
