Quilt block number 36 is called "Darting Birds". This is a great quilt block for beginners. I had a beautiful butterfly fabric that I wanted to emphasize. This was a great block to do that with. This block calls for three fabrics. Here's what it looks like:When you put the four blocks together, it creates another design. In this group, the center reminds me of the first base plate in baseball. I could have changed the direction of the blocks to create another design. I liked the direction I used because it reminds me of birds flying.I made a "Lovie Lap Quilt" with the Darting Birds block. You can find the "Lovie Lap Quilt" for sale here on my website. On to quilt block 37!
