For those of you who are new to my blog, I am currently quilting 200 quilts from the 200 quilt blocks of my favorite quilt book, "Around the Block with Judy Hopkins". In the past I have had trouble seeing what the quilt would look like from just seeing the quilt block. When you sew four blocks together, you often get a secondary pattern which changes the whole look of the quilt. This is why I am doing this project. I wanted a place where you could go and see what the quilt would look like. In the book, Judy shows this block using just two colors. I chose to use four different fabrics. I like how the different fabrics give you two different pinwheels.
