For those of you new to my blog, I am making 200 quilts from the 200 quilt blocks from "Around the Block with Judy Hopkins". This is one of my favorite books. I wanted to show what the quilts would look like when you had more than one block. With certain quilt blocks you can get a whole different pattern when you have four or more blocks together even when it is the same block pattern. Here is what the four blocks together look like. Youcould have alot of fun with this quilt block by changing the values of the fabrics. I had my values too close together, not giving it that dramatic feel. So next time I make this quilt block, I will know better. This is the main reason I am doing this blog. If I had a picture of what the four blocks would look like from the start, I would have done more of a value change. Give this block a try. Have fun.
