After visits with my grandmother I have designed lap quilts for seniors. Many seniors are in wheelchairs or don't get around as much as they once did. My lap quilt keeps them warm without being too big to get in their way. I have put pockets lined in flannel to keep their hands warm along with a second pocket for small items such as tissues or cough drops. The themes of the lap quilts are for women and men.
