How do you say goodbye to your Mom. I lost my mother 11/25/14 after a four year battle with a rare blood cancer. You never even new she was sick with the exception of her being tired. She wasn't one to complain. Mom showed such strength and determination. She would question the doctors and fight for more information about her disease.
I have gotten such strength from Mom. I have been so blessed to have been able to spend the last four years at Mom's summer home in Maine with her. The memories are priceless.
Mom was very involved with my quilting business, always encouraging. She would love to go shopping with me to choose new fabrics. As soon as I finished a quilt, Mom would say, "Oh that's gorgeous! That one won't last long."
I will miss you, Mom, but I know you are always with me. Thank you for all the love you have shared with your family and friends. I love you, Mom!
