Best Friend is another wonderful quilt block from "Around the Block with Judy Hopkins". Looking at it now I think it would have been more dramatic if I had used a white on white fabric for the light fabric. The blue and white fabric takes away from the quilt pattern.

With that being said, I loved making this quilt block and love the secondary design you see with sewing the four blocks together.
This is the second time I have used this white and blue fabric. I have been disappointed both times and now I realize why. I should have used the blue and white fabric as a medium instead of a light. That would have made a huge difference. You live and learn.
