I had to laugh at the name of this quilt block, Beginner's Delight. I certainly wouldn't start a new quilter off with this quilt block. It's not difficult, just half square triangles; but there are a lot of them. A beginner might get discouraged squaring up all the quilt blocks. They could also struggle with the points matching.

With that being said, I loved making this quilt and really enjoyed the outcome. I made the Beginner's Delight quilt block into a baby quilt.
